About the Major

English Language is an academic major that focuses on the study of English linguistics, grammar, and communication skills. The program covers reading, writing, speaking, and critical analysis of texts. Students develop strong language proficiency and effective communication abilities. Graduates can work in education, translation, media, content writing, and various professional fields.

Applied English Language Program 2024

Students of the English Language Department participated in the 2024 University English Olympiad: Students from the Department of English participated in the 2024 Universities English Olympiad, where the university ranked fourth in the world.

Attracting an elite group of English language professors: A distinguished group of English language professors, headed by Prof. Dr. Rashid Al-Jarrah, were attracted to enhance the educational process in the department.

English Day 2024: An "English Day" was organized in 2024, which showcased the students' English language skills in a remarkable way.
